BMA2GTA50-1495A-EC/99X Connector

The Rosnol BMA2GTA50-1495A-EC/99X coaxial connector is meticulously engineered to meet the high standards of the radio frequency communication industry, boasting exceptional technical performance and physical durability. This connector is specifically designed for applications requiring reliable connections in high-frequency environments such as radar systems, communication bases, and testing equipment.

The BMA2GTA50-1495A-EC/99X connector features a 50-ohm impedance and can handle frequencies from DC up to 26.5 GHz, making it suitable for a wide range of RF applications. It maintains excellent signal integrity across its entire operating frequency range with a maximum Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) of 1.20 and a minimum return loss of 20.8 dB. The insertion loss is critically low, at less than or equal to 0.05 times the square root of the frequency (GHz) in dB, ensuring efficient signal transmission and minimal attenuation.

Mechanically, the connector employs a slide-on coupling mechanism and can withstand over 1000 mating cycles, demonstrating its exceptional durability. The center contact’s captivation force exceeds 27 newtons, while the insertion and extraction forces are maintained below 13.5 newtons and not less than 2 newtons, respectively, ensuring reliable and easy connectivity. The BMA2GTA50-1495A-EC/99X connector utilizes epoxy captivation to further enhance its mechanical stability and environmental durability.

In terms of environmental resilience, the BMA2GTA50-1495A-EC/99X operates reliably within a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C, making it extremely suitable for use in harsh environments. Additionally, this connector complies with RoHS standards, ensuring environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.

The materials and plating of the connector also reflect its robust design. The center contact and body are made from beryllium copper, which provides excellent electrical performance and mechanical strength. These components are gold-plated to a thickness of 3 inches with an 80-inch underlayer of non-magnetic nickel-phosphorus, enhancing their corrosion resistance and durability. The connector’s outer shell is made from stainless steel and has been passivated, while the insulator is made from PTFE, ensuring long-term stability under various environmental conditions.
